The Beeripmo Walk was constructed by Track & Trail for DEPI in 2001/2002.  Located north of Beaufort in central western Victoria, it is designed as an “entry level” overnight walk ideal for beginners new to overnight bushwalking.

Twelve kilometres of new walking track was constructed to link old logging and fire trails to create a 21 kilometre circuit walk. The walk goes through both the Mt Cole State Forest and Mt Buangor State Park. All of the new trail alignment was hand benched to minimise disturbance and keep the width under 800mm. Along the way dry stone steps, retaining walls and stepping stone creek crossings were constructed. All the material, except for two timber boardwalks were sourced from the surrounding bush ensuring that the track was landscaped into the natural surroundings as much as possible. Track & Trail also designed and constructed the new “walker only” campground, using local granite rock to construct the toilet block.
