Main Range National Park part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage areas, with impressive peaks and escarpments, while walking through misty sub tropical forest.

After extensive cyclone damage caused numerous landslides closed the Mt Cordeaux track, TTMS had the task of reopening the steep track. Landslips were repaired with rock retaining walls and stone steps from local rock were installed to stabilise deeply eroded and damaged track sections. A large nearly vertical landslip was bypassed by the construction of a series of stepped switchbacks linked by hand benching through steep rock scree slopes.
