Located between Forestville and Bantry Bay in Sydney’s north, this popular suburban walking track descends steeply through impressive sandstone rock formations and intact open bushland.

TTMS installed over 230 timber and stone steps with associated drains and retaining walls to stabilise and upgrade this steep and widely eroded walking track.  A feature of this work was the careful chiselling into a large sandstone boulder to create steps in the same style as earlier convict heritage steps.   The project for environmental reasons required us to work within the existing track alignment yet we were able to ensure all the new steps curved gracefully up the fall line.
