Since 1907 walkers have been enjoying the historic and awesome Grand Canyon track near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains National Park. Consisting of vertical sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and lush native ferns. TTMS assisted the NSW NPWS to complete a ten year program to restore this historic track with heritage walking track structures.

TTMS partnered with specialist NPWS Blue Mountains track crews to undertake exacting and complicated heritage stone work in the narrow and logistically challenging Grand Canyon track. Over several years from 2014 TTMS assisted by providing skilled crews to increase the capacity of NPWS to upgrade the track on time and within budget. The overall work on the track was considered to be of such a high standard that in 2017 the Grand Canyon - Restoration Project by the NSW NPWS won the Leisure Facility of the Year Award (NSW) from Parks & Leisure Australia.
